Nifty opened at 17104.40 with a gap up of 121 points, the index first rallied further, moved above 17200 and then fell very sharply to reach the opening tick, prices then rallied again more than 100 points and recorded its intraday high at 17213.05 and then fell again, prices then moved down more than 100 points to record its intraday low at 17064.25 , the index again rallied more than 100 points in the last hour of trading and finally closed at 17166.90 near its intraday high with a gain of 183.70 points or 1.08% up. All the sectoral indices closed in green except Pharma , the metal led the bull today and ended with gain of more than 2%.
As the short term trend is down , we should only consider shorting opportunity on an intraday basis, on the daily chart prices have recorded recent swing around 17350 and swing low around 16800, for buying we should wait for a breakout above 17350 or wait for price to consolidate, a dip towards 16800 is also a buying opportunity if price hold its support. To summarize we should avoid trading the index and wait for the clear sense of direction.
Bank Nifty opened at 35902.90 with a gap up of 302 points , the index rallied further but that rally fizzled out quickly and prices turned down to come close near the opening tick , intraday low was recorded at 35805 and prices again rallied , the index spends the afternoon moving sideways and moved up again in the last hour of trading , the index recorded its intraday high at 36445.35 and finally closed at 36384.80 with a gain of 784 points. Both Private and PSU Banks both have performed well today.
The short term trend is still on the downside and one day rally didn’t affect much of it , however we are expecting a process of consolidation soon and today rally confirmed our expectation. Volatility is still very high intraday trader should look at intraday opportunity to buy dips if found support and sell rallies if find resistance.
|BSE||1651||BUY||The stock is on the verge of giving the breakout on the intraday as well as the daily chart. The stock can be bought with a stop loss of 1615 and for the target of 1700.|
|NAUKRI||5948||BUY||The immediate trend of the script is bullish. There is a positive cross over of moving averages as well as of the indicators therefore it can be buy above 5965 with a stop loss of 5880 and target of 6080.|
