Bharti Airtel Limited reported a strong set of results for the July–September quarter (Q2 FY26), posting a 14.2% quarter-on-quarter rise in consolidated net profit to ₹6,791 crore, compared with ₹5,948 crore in the previous quarter. The company’s performance surpassed market expectations, beating the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹6,600 crore.
Financial Highlights
- Revenue: ₹52,145 crore, up 5.4% from ₹49,462 crore in Q1 FY26, ahead of street expectations of ₹51,006 crore.
 - EBITDA: ₹29,561 crore, up 6.2% sequentially from ₹27,838.7 crore, in line with estimates of ₹29,005 crore.
 - EBITDA Margin: Improved slightly to 56.7% from 56.3% in the previous quarter, reflecting operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
 - ARPU (Average Revenue Per User): Increased 2.4% to ₹256, compared with ₹250 in Q1 FY26, supported by higher premium customer additions and better data monetisation.
 
Segment Performance
Airtel’s India revenue, including Passive Infrastructure Services, grew 2.9% sequentially, while its Africa operations delivered a 7.1% growth in constant currency terms. The company’s mobile services in India saw a 2.6% revenue increase, supported by the addition of 5.1 million new smartphone users and sustained leadership in ARPU levels.
The Homes business continued its robust momentum, adding 951,000 new customers during the quarter, while Airtel Business registered growth across connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT), and security service verticals.
