View on market: Volatility persists, eagerly searching for growth:
Asian markets came under pressure as semiconductor stocks continued to decline, while higher bond yields and geopolitical concerns made investors more cautious. Weakness in technology and chip stocks weighed on overall sentiment, with Japan and other major Asian markets moving lower. US markets also ended on a weak note as rising oil prices, higher Treasury yields and continued selling in semiconductor stocks increased concerns among investors. Technology and AI-related stocks faced the strongest pressure as inflation worries and geopolitical uncertainty remained in focus. Indian markets extended their losing streak, with both major benchmark indices ending lower. Weakness in IT and Realty stocks dragged the market down. The Nifty continued its decline for the sixth consecutive session, reflecting continued caution among investors. Overall, global markets remained under pressure due to rising oil prices, higher bond yields, weakness in technology stocks and ongoing geopolitical risks.
