Maharashtra, September 2025: Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (SPIL), a leading

manufacturer of energy-efficient pumps and motors, has achieved a major milestone under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM KUSUM B, securing solar pump orders worth ₹616.3 crore.

Rapid Farmer Demand

Following its empanelment on August 12, 2025, for supplying and installing 34,720 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS), Shakti Pumps received overwhelming interest from farmers across Maharashtra.

  • First tranche: On August 27, 2025, 10,000 units were fully booked within 1.5 hours, valued at ₹268.88 crore (inclusive of GST).
  • Second tranche: A subsequent 12,451 units order followed, fully booked shortly after release, valued at ₹347.41 crore (inclusive of GST).

Combined, the first two tranches account for 22,451 SPWPS orders worth ₹616.3 crore, putting the company on track to fulfill its empanelled commitment under the scheme.
