Vikran Engineering Limited has announced the receipt of a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract valued at ₹2,035.26 crore from Onix Renewables Limited for the development of a 600 MW AC solar power project.
Project Scope and Execution
The order involves end-to-end turnkey EPC services, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of solar power plants across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The scope also covers the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and inverters required for the project.
Contract Value and Timeline
As per regulatory disclosures, the contract value stands at ₹2,035.26 crore excluding GST, and approximately ₹2,216.4 crore including applicable taxes. The project is scheduled to be completed within a 12-month execution period.
Regulatory Disclosure
Vikran Engineering confirmed that the order does not involve any related-party transaction. The company also stated that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
The order significantly strengthens Vikran Engineering’s presence in the renewable energy EPC segment and adds a large-scale solar project to its execution pipeline.
