View on market: Volatility persists, eagerly searching for growth:

Asian markets traded mixed as investors remained cautious ahead of possible new US economic measures against Iran. South Korea and Japan moved lower, while Australia gained. Attention is also on US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s upcoming press conference, where details of possible sanctions on Iran are expected. US stocks recovered after the previous session’s sharp sell-off. Easing Treasury yields, lower oil prices and stronger labour-market data helped improve investor sentiment. The major US indices ended higher, with the Dow showing the strongest recovery. Indian equity markets remained under pressure, with the Nifty and Sensex declining for the second straight week. However, both benchmarks managed to close marginally higher on Friday, recovering from their provisional levels. Overall, market sentiment remained cautious as investors continued to monitor global developments, oil prices, US policy actions and economic data.
