Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a ₹2,500-crore aquaculture technology park near Srikakulam, marking India’s first AI-powered aquaculture facility.

The 500-acre park aims to position the state as a hub for tech-enabled, sustainable seafood production. Kings Infra will directly invest ₹500 crore in core infrastructure, processing units and R&D, while an additional ₹2,000 crore is expected from ancillary industries and renewable energy partners.

The project—formalised during the recent CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam—will include hatcheries, indoor farming systems, processing lines, and a marine bio-actives division, all connected through BlueTechOS, the company’s proprietary AI operating system. The park will also train 5,000 aquaculture professionals over five years and support year-round multi-species farming, including shrimp, seabass, grouper and tilapia.

Chairman and Managing Director Shaji Baby John said the park would set global benchmarks for responsible food production and strengthen India’s Blue Economy. The state will extend single-window clearances for land and approvals, MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said.

Andhra Pradesh, India’s largest aquaculture-producing state, continues to attract major investments. Kings Infra reported a 22.36% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹4.24 crore in Q2 FY26, with total income increasing to ₹43.45 crore, driven by strong demand from Europe, Vietnam and China.
