Vikram Solar, one of India’s largest solar module manufacturers, has announced that it has secured a 336 MW module supply order from L&T Construction for the Khavda solar project in Gujarat. The development reinforces Vikram Solar’s growing presence in India’s renewable energy sector, particularly in large-scale solar park projects.

Advanced Technology Deployment

As part of the order, Vikram Solar will supply its latest Hypersol G12R modules, based on advanced N-type technology. These modules are designed to:

  • Enhance Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency,
  • Lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE),
  • Improve cost-effectiveness and accessibility of solar energy projects.

The modules also feature:

  • Improved bifaciality of up to 80%,
  • Better high-temperature performance,
  • Minimal year-on-year degradation, ensuring long-term reliability.

Company Statement

Commenting on the milestone, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said:

“We are delighted to contribute to this landmark project. The region holds immense potential for solar energy, and this project will play a pivotal role in harnessing that opportunity. Each project we deliver is a testament to the trust placed in Vikram Solar’s technology, performance, and commitment to excellence.”

Expanding Role in Khavda Renewable Energy Park

This is not the company’s first major order from Khavda. In May 2025, Vikram Solar had secured a 326 MW module supply order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL) for the same renewable energy park. Together, these deals highlight the company’s strong positioning as a preferred partner in India’s largest renewable energy cluster.
