Tata Electronics has entered into a strategic partnership with ASML to support the development of India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem and accelerate the operational rollout of its upcoming semiconductor fabrication facility in Gujarat.

ASML to Supply Advanced Lithography Systems
Under the partnership, ASML will provide advanced lithography equipment and semiconductor manufacturing solutions for Tata Electronics’ planned 300 mm semiconductor fabrication plant at Dholera in Gujarat.
Lithography systems are among the most critical technologies used in semiconductor manufacturing. These machines enable the precise transfer of chip circuit patterns onto silicon wafers, forming the foundation for advanced semiconductor production.
The partnership is expected to support the commissioning, scaling, and long-term operational efficiency of Tata Electronics’ semiconductor fabrication facility.

Tata Electronics is currently developing India’s first commercial-scale 300 mm semiconductor fabrication facility at Dholera with an estimated investment of nearly US$11 billion.
The fabrication plant is expected to manufacture semiconductor chips for multiple sectors, including automotive, consumer electronics, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and industrial applications.

The collaboration includes process technologies such as 28nm, 40nm, 55nm, 90nm, and 110nm nodes, which are widely used in automotive electronics, industrial systems, communication devices, and consumer applications.
