Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has secured a new contract worth ₹144.44 crore from the South Central Railway, further strengthening its position in the railway infrastructure sector.

Project Details

RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in a reverse auction conducted by South Central Railway. The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for the OHE (Overhead Equipment) upgradation of the existing 1X25kV system to a 2X25kV AT feeding system, along with feeder and earthing works.

Recent Contract Wins

This new win adds to RVNL’s growing list of contracts across various railway zones:

  • Earlier this month, RVNL bagged a ₹40 crore order from Western Railway for strengthening signaling and telecom (S&T) maintenance activities in Ahmedabad Division.
  • In September, the company received a ₹145 crore order from Southern Railway for design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of traction substations.
