Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd has strengthened its footprint in North India with the signing of a new 43-key property in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, under its Regenta brand, according to disclosures made to stock exchanges. The development supports the company’s asset-light expansion strategy and is aimed at serving demand from business travellers, corporate events and social functions in a key industrial region.

Details of the New Signing

The upcoming hotel, to be branded as Regenta Place Golden Castle, is located on the Baddi–Nalagarh Road (NH-105). The property will be operated under a management contract, in line with Royal Orchid Hotels’ approach of expanding through partnerships rather than ownership.

Baddi is recognised as one of Asia’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing hubs, making it a strategic location for hospitality services catering to corporate travel, conferences and large-scale gatherings linked to industrial activity.

Accommodation and Event Infrastructure

The hotel will feature 43 rooms across multiple categories, including suites, super deluxe, deluxe and executive rooms. In addition to accommodation, the property will offer banquet halls, meeting spaces and large outdoor areas designed to host conferences, weddings and social events.

A 12,000 square foot lawn is planned as part of the development, providing space for large functions and celebrations.

Facilities and Guest Experience

Designed to address both business and leisure needs, the property will include a multi-cuisine restaurant, a rooftop bar and lounge, spa facilities, a swimming pool and high-speed internet connectivity. Its location offers convenient access to major transport hubs, including the Chandigarh railway station and airport, enhancing connectivity for regional and interstate travellers.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the expansion, Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid and Regenta Hotels, stated that Baddi’s prominence as an industrial and pharmaceutical centre makes it a key market for the company’s business travel segment. He noted that the signing of Regenta Place Golden Castle aligns with the group’s strategy of establishing a consistent and high-quality presence across important regional markets in North India.

Summary

Royal Orchid Hotels has signed a 43-key Regenta-branded property in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, under a management agreement. Located in a major pharmaceutical and industrial hub, the upcoming Regenta Place Golden Castle will cater to business travellers and social events, offering modern accommodation, banquet facilities and leisure amenities as part of the group’s asset-light expansion strategy.
