
The Andhra Pradesh government has approved two investments worth ₹1,000 crore from the Raymond Group to set up aerospace and automotive component manufacturing units in Sri Satya Sai district. The projects are expected to generate over 5,400 direct jobs.
The state will provide ₹700 crore in incentives under its industrial and aerospace policies to support these initiatives.
Project Details:
- Aerospace Manufacturing Unit:
- Promoted by JK Maini Global Aerospace Ltd, a Raymond Group subsidiary.
- Investment: ₹510 crore
- Employment: Around 1,400 jobs
- Scope: Manufacture precision components for global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Commercial operations expected by May 2027
- Automotive Component Manufacturing Unit:
- Promoted by JK Maini Precision Technology Ltd, another Raymond subsidiary.
- Investment: ₹430 crore
- Employment: Around 4,096 jobs
- Location: Gudipalli
- Production targeted to commence by May 2027
The projects were approved by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, following recommendations from the State Investment Promotion Committee.
The Industries Department will facilitate implementation through a Project Management Unit and the Single Desk Portal 2.0.
This marks Andhra Pradesh’s first aerospace investment under its new Aerospace Policy and follows Google’s recent announcement of a $15 billion AI data hub in the state.
