Ramco Cements has generated ₹514.90 crore through the sale of a part of its non-core assets to Prestige Estates Projects Limited. The transaction forms part of the Chennai-based cement manufacturer’s ongoing asset monetisation initiative focused on divesting properties not directly linked to its core operations.

Asset Monetisation Milestone

Following this transaction, Ramco Cements has completed non-core asset sales totalling ₹1,016.92 crore. This exceeds the company’s previously stated monetisation target of ₹1,000 crore, as disclosed in a regulatory filing. The programme was initiated in the previous year, with asset disposals worth ₹376 crore concluded during September and October 2024.

Further Divestments in Pipeline

The company has indicated that steps are underway to monetise additional non-core assets valued at approximately ₹200 crore. These transactions are expected to be completed before February 2026, with proceeds intended for application toward debt reduction.

Debt Levels

As per disclosed figures, Ramco Cements reported a net debt of ₹4,591 crore as of September 30. This compares with a net debt of ₹4,481 crore recorded at the end of March 2025.
