Power Mech Projects Ltd. has secured a significant ₹2,500 crore order from state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

The order involves the EPC package for balance of plants (BOP) at the 1 X 800 MW Singareni Super Thermal Power Project, Stage II, Mancherial, Telangana, and is expected to be completed within 38 months.

Scope of the Project:
The project includes:

  • Design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and painting
  • Supply, delivery, and transportation to the project site
  • Receipt, unloading, storage, handling, and security at the site
  • Complete civil and structural works, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, final painting
  • Trial runs, PG testing, handover of completed facilities
  • Annual maintenance until handover, training, guarantees, warranties, and defect liability

This is the first order disclosed by Power Mech in nearly two months. Previously, in August, the company had announced a ₹370.8 crore order from Mahan Energen Ltd., a subsidiary of Adani Power.

Recent Financial Performance:
In the June quarter, Power Mech reported a 30.4% year-on-year growth in net profit to ₹80.5 crore, while revenue increased 28.4% to ₹1,293 crore.
