The newly operational capacity is part of the 450 MW Hybrid Tranche V programme. This marks the fifth commissioned phase within the broader 300 MW Khavda solar project being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.

Following this commissioning, the cumulative commercial renewable capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group has increased to 7,889.335 MW. The group’s total installed renewable energy capacity now stands at 7,927.26 MW, reflecting continued progress in the rollout of large-scale solar projects.
