View on market: Volatility persists, eagerly searching for growth:

Global stock markets paused after a strong rally, as investors awaited major tech earnings and central bank policy decisions this week. Shares in Japan and South Korea eased after reaching record highs. The yen strengthened following comments from Japan’s finance minister about monitoring the currency. South Korea’s economy showed steady growth in the recent quarter. In the US, markets closed at record highs supported by optimism over trade progress between Washington and Beijing. Chinese and US officials are preparing to announce new agreements at an upcoming summit. Strong company results and cost control have helped US firms stay resilient despite trade tensions. Indian markets also ended higher, supported by positive economic momentum, festive season demand, and steady government spending. Investors now await updates on India’s trade talks with the EU, a cabinet meeting, and new industrial production data. Overall, sentiment remained positive but cautious ahead of key global events.
