Market-View-Feature-Image

View on market: Volatility persists, eagerly searching for growth:

Global markets showed a mixed trend as investors remained cautious ahead of key economic events and company earnings. Asian markets mostly traded higher supported by softer oil prices, while South Korean stocks stayed under pressure. Investors also tracked the meeting between the Japanese and South Korean leaders for possible regional developments. US markets ended slightly lower as technology shares faced selling pressure. Chip-related stocks remained weak due to concerns over supply disruptions and caution before major earnings announcements. Market sentiment stayed range-bound with traders avoiding aggressive positions. Indian markets closed almost flat after a highly volatile session. Early gains were erased by selling in banking and metal stocks, while telecom and IT shares offered support. Both Sensex and Nifty moved sharply in both directions during the day before ending with marginal gains. Overall, investors remained cautious due to weak global cues, profit booking at higher levels and uncertainty around global economic conditions.
