Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through its subsidiary Reliance Intelligence Limited, has partnered with Google to provide complimentary access to Google’s Gemini Pro plan for eligible young Jio users. The offer, valued at approximately ₹35,100, will be available for 18 months to customers aged 18 to 25 years who are subscribed to eligible Jio 5G unlimited plans.
Making AI Accessible to Young India
Launched on October 30, 2025, the initiative supports Jio’s “AI for All” mission aimed at making advanced artificial intelligence tools widely accessible across India. Under this collaboration, users will receive full access to Google’s Gemini 2.5 Pro model along with premium AI features such as:
- 2 TB cloud storage
- AI video generation through Veo 3.1
- Image creation using Nano Banana
- Productivity tools including NotebookLM, Gemini Code Assist, and Gemini integration within Gmail and Google Docs
Eligible users can activate the plan through the MyJio app by selecting the “Claim Now” option. Existing Gemini Pro subscribers will be able to switch to the “Google AI Pro – Powered by Jio” plan once their current subscriptions expire.
Extending Collaboration to Enterprises
The partnership will also extend to the enterprise sector, with Reliance Intelligence Limited and Google working together to accelerate AI adoption among Indian businesses. The collaboration includes access to Google Cloud’s AI hardware accelerators (TPUs) and the rollout of Gemini Enterprise, Google’s next-generation agentic AI platform designed for organizations.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the link between 5G connectivity and AI-driven innovation, enabling enterprises to improve operational efficiency and drive digital transformation.
