Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading defence and aerospace electronics company, has reported robust growth in its Q2 FY26 results, driven by strong order execution and sustained demand in key business segments such as defence electronics, radar systems, and strategic communication solutions.
On a consolidated basis, BEL’s revenue from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, stood at ₹5,79,209 lakh (₹5,792 crore), up from ₹4,43,974 lakh (₹4,439 crore) in the same quarter last year. Total income, including other income, rose to ₹5,94,601 lakh, compared to ₹4,60,306 lakh in Q2 FY25, reflecting the company’s continued growth momentum.
Half-Yearly Financial Performance
For the first half (H1) of FY26, BEL recorded a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹10,23,183 lakh, against ₹8,84,847 lakh in H1 FY25.
Total income rose to ₹10,54,907 lakh from ₹9,20,981 lakh in the corresponding period last year.
Net profit for H1 FY26 stood at ₹2,25,621 lakh, marking a solid increase from ₹1,88,406 lakh in H1 FY25.
On a standalone basis, BEL’s total income for Q2 FY26 reached ₹5,92,275 lakh, up from ₹4,58,045 lakh in Q1 FY26, indicating steady sequential growth.
Profitability and Outlook
BEL reported a profit of ₹1,28,716 lakh for Q2 FY26, compared to ₹96,905 lakh in the previous quarter, showcasing a notable improvement in profitability.
The company credited its performance to efficient cost management, operational excellence, and a healthy order book across defence and strategic electronics. BEL continues to focus on expanding its R&D capabilities and manufacturing infrastructure to meet the growing demand from India’s defence sector and international clients.
