Bansal Wire Industries has received a GST show-cause notice amounting to ₹202.77 crore for the financial year 2020–21. The notice was issued on December 1, 2025, by the Joint Commissioner of SGST, Corporate Circle-I, Ghaziabad Zone-I, under Section 74 of the CGST/SGST Act. The disclosure was made as part of mandatory regulatory compliance to the stock exchanges.

The notice highlights issues related to e-way bills, blocked and excess input tax credit, and tax liability on the sale of RoDTEP licences, details of which were included in the annexure submitted with the filing.
Company’s Position
The company has stated that it disagrees with the claims raised in the notice and will file its response within the stipulated timeline. Bansal Wire also noted that a similar notice for FY2019–20 was resolved earlier, resulting in a minimal financial outflow.
