New Delhi, Sept 2025 – Renewable energy company ACME Solar Holdings has announced plans to raise up to ₹3,000 crore through the issuance of securities, subject to shareholder approval at its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 29, 2025.

Fundraising Proposal

In its AGM notice, the company outlined a proposal to raise capital in one or more tranches via private offerings, qualified institutional placements (QIP), further public offers, or other permitted routes. The special resolution seeks to provide the board of directors with flexibility to decide the timing, structure, pricing, and terms of the issuances depending on market conditions and business needs.

Renewable Energy Portfolio

ACME Solar, which focuses exclusively on renewable energy, reported an operational capacity of 2,540 MW and under-construction projects totaling 4,430 MW at the end of FY25. Since March 31, 2025, the company has added 350 MW of renewable energy projects, taking its operational portfolio to 2,890 MW.

The company has also secured a 550 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, strengthening its position in India’s fast-growing clean energy and storage market.

Long-Term Growth Plans

Looking ahead, ACME Solar aims to expand significantly, targeting a contracted capacity portfolio of 10 GW by 2030. The proposed fundraising is expected to support ongoing capacity additions and the company’s broader growth strategy in India’s renewable sector.
