Wipro Limited has announced a strategic organisational realignment with the launch of a dedicated AI-focused business unit, aimed at strengthening its capabilities in next-generation digital services and driving innovation-led growth.

Introduction of AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit

The company has introduced a new AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit, designed to complement its core technology services while advancing its presence in enterprise AI solutions. The unit will focus on building scalable, enterprise-grade AI platforms and aligning offerings with the evolving “services as software” model.

This initiative is expected to enable Wipro to create new AI-driven revenue streams through an invest-build-partner approach, leveraging collaborations with Wipro Ventures and its broader partner ecosystem.

Leadership to Steer Execution

To lead the new division, Nagendra Bandaru has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. With nearly 30 years of experience within Wipro, he brings deep domain expertise and organisational insight.

Additionally, Kanwar Singh has taken on the role of President and Managing Partner, Technology Services GBL, further strengthening the leadership team. Both executives will report to CEO and MD Srini Pallia, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader strategic direction.

The newly formed unit will focus on integrating and scaling multiple domain-specific platforms across industries such as:
