Exicom Tele-Systems Limited has inaugurated a state-of-the-art integrated manufacturing facility in Hyderabad on March 16, 2026. The development, disclosed under SEBI Listing Regulations, marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy, backed by an investment of ₹216 crore.

Strategic Capacity Expansion

The newly operational facility is designed to enhance Exicom’s manufacturing capabilities in response to rising demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and critical power solutions across domestic and international markets.

  • ISO 8 cleanroom environment for high-precision production
  • Advanced automation and robotics integration
  • End-to-end product traceability systems
  • Compliance with global quality standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018

The company also plans to establish India’s first EV charger interoperability testing centre at the facility.

Diverse Product Manufacturing

The Hyderabad unit will support manufacturing across multiple product segments aligned with Exicom’s business verticals:

  • EV battery charging stations
  • AC and DC EV chargers
  • Lithium-ion battery packs
  • SMPS-based DC power systems
  • Power electronic components
  • Critical power solutions for telecom and data centres

Additionally, the facility will manufacture products under strategic partnerships, including Tritium’s TRI-FLEX liquid-cooled power modules.

Sustainability-Focused Design

Sustainability considerations have been integrated into the facility’s design and operations:

  • 40% of the campus area dedicated to green cover
  • 1 MW rooftop solar installation to offset energy consumption
  • Rainwater harvesting systems
  • Sewage treatment plant for water recycling
  • Targeting IGBC Green Building certification

These measures align with the company’s broader environmental and sustainability objectives.
