NBCC (India) Ltd has secured new work orders aggregating approximately ₹345.04 crore, excluding GST, as disclosed by the company on December 16, 2025. The contracts have been awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi and Kandla Special Economic Zone in the normal course of business.

Major Order from IIT Mandi

The bulk of the total order value comes from IIT Mandi, which has awarded NBCC a contract worth about ₹332.99 crore. Under this assignment, NBCC has been appointed as the project management consultant for planning, design and development works at the institute’s campus in Kamand, Himachal Pradesh.

The scope of work includes the construction of academic buildings, residential housing comprising 2 BHK and 3 BHK units, and a student activity centre. In addition, the project covers the development of a sports complex and other supporting infrastructure within the campus.

According to the company’s disclosure, the IIT Mandi assignment is in the nature of project management consultancy services. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any interest from NBCC’s promoters or promoter group. The company has clarified that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction. No specific timeline for completion of the project has been provided.

Maintenance Contract from Kandla SEZ

NBCC has also received a separate order valued at around ₹12.05 crore from Kandla Special Economic Zone. This contract pertains to day-to-day annual maintenance services and will be executed over a one-year period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

The maintenance scope includes the provision of manpower and materials for housekeeping, horticulture, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and civil works. It also covers services related to air-conditioning systems, dish antennas, mosquito control, CCTV cameras and networking infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include upkeep of hygiene systems, lifts, solar installations, diesel generator sets and fire-fighting vehicles.
