Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) handed over a dividend cheque of ₹109.98 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2024–25 during a Dividend Distribution Ceremony held on December 15, 2025, according to a release by the Press Information Bureau.

The dividend cheque was formally presented to the Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy. The payout represents a 100% increase compared to the dividend distributed for FY 2023–24, highlighting an improvement in the company’s financial outgo to the government.
