KEC International Limited, the infrastructure engineering and construction arm of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth ₹1,150 crore in India in the normal course of business. The latest contracts have strengthened the company’s presence across its transmission and civil infrastructure segments and have taken its year-to-date order inflows beyond ₹18,000 crore.

Major Order in Transmission and Distribution Business

In the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment, KEC International has secured its largest domestic order to date from a private sector client. The project involves the construction of a 765 kV transmission line along with a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation (AIS). The contract has been awarded on a lump sum turnkey basis.

This order increases the contribution of private sector clients within the company’s domestic T&D order book. The project is also linked to the development of evacuation infrastructure supporting renewable energy capacity.

Expansion in Civil Infrastructure Segment

KEC International’s civil business has also secured a contract for additional civil and structural works at a 150 MW thermal power plant. The order has been awarded by a leading private sector entity and expands the company’s footprint in the thermal power sector.

The civil segment continues to execute projects across power, transportation, and industrial infrastructure, adding to the company’s diversified project portfolio in India.

Commenting on the developments, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International Limited, stated that the company is encouraged by the new order wins in India. He highlighted the significance of the composite order secured by the transmission business for renewable energy evacuation and noted that the civil business has further strengthened its presence in the thermal power plant segment. He added that the latest contracts have taken the company’s year-to-date order intake beyond ₹18,000 crore, supporting confidence in meeting its annual order targets.
