HAL Dividend 2025 – Key Highlights

  • Record Date: August 21, 2025
  • Final Dividend: ₹15 per share (300% on face value of ₹5)
  • Payment Timeline: Within 30 days from shareholder approval at AGM

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced its final dividend for FY 2024-25, fixing August 21, 2025, as the record date. The company’s board had earlier declared a ₹15 per equity share dividend on June 27, 2025, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

In an official exchange filing, HAL stated:

“The Board of Directors recommended the final dividend of ₹15 per equity share of ₹5 each fully paid up (300%) for the financial year 2024-25, for approval of the shareholders of the Company at the ensuing AGM. The final dividend shall be paid within 30 days from the date of its approval.”

What Does HAL’s Dividend Record Date Mean for Shareholders?

The record date is the cut-off date to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the dividend. Since HAL has set August 21, 2025, as the record date, investors must own HAL shares by August 20, 2025 (the last trading day before the record date) to qualify.

Due to the T+1 settlement cycle, any shares purchased on or after August 21 will not be eligible for the final dividend.

Why This Matters to Investors

HAL has been a consistent dividend-paying company, and the ₹15 per share final dividend adds to shareholder returns. With the stock being part of the defence and aerospace sector, investors closely track such announcements as part of their income and long-term growth strategy.
