TVS Motor Company has expanded its premium motorcycle lineup in Nepal with the introduction of two new variants of the Ronin motorcycle. The company has launched the Ronin Monotone and the Ronin Agonda, further strengthening its presence in the growing premium two-wheeler segment in the neighbouring market.
The latest additions are aimed at riders looking for a combination of contemporary design, advanced features, and comfortable cruising performance. With these launches, TVS Motor continues to enhance its international product portfolio and cater to evolving consumer preferences.
Ronin Monotone and Agonda Join the Portfolio
The newly launched TVS Ronin Monotone is available in two colour options—Lightning Black and Magma Red. The motorcycle has been priced at NPR 4,29,900 (ex-showroom, Nepal).
Alongside it, the company introduced the Ronin Agonda variant, which comes in a Pearl White finish and is priced at NPR 4,39,900 (ex-showroom, Nepal).
According to the company, the Agonda edition draws inspiration from the scenic Agonda Beach in Goa and features a distinctive triple-tone paint scheme combined with retro-inspired styling elements. The design aims to offer a unique visual identity while maintaining the modern-retro character of the Ronin brand.
Engine and Performance Remain Unchanged
Both newly introduced variants continue to use the established Ronin platform powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder engine.
The powertrain generates:
- 20.4 PS of power at 7,750 RPM
- 19.93 Nm of torque at 3,750 RPM
The motorcycle is designed to deliver a balance between city commuting and leisure touring, making it suitable for a wide range of riding conditions.
Feature-Rich Riding Experience
The Ronin variants continue to offer several rider-focused features that have been part of the platform since its launch.
Key features include:
- Glide Through Technology (GTT)
- Assist and slipper clutch
- 41mm upside-down front forks
- Modern-retro styling design
- Enhanced ride comfort and handling characteristics
These features are intended to improve low-speed rideability, comfort, and overall riding dynamics.
Focus on International Expansion
The launch highlights TVS Motor Company‘s continued focus on expanding its footprint in international markets. Nepal remains an important market for the company, particularly in the premium motorcycle category, where demand for feature-rich and lifestyle-oriented motorcycles continues to grow.
By introducing differentiated variants such as the Monotone and Agonda editions, the company aims to appeal to younger riders seeking style, performance, and individuality in their motorcycle choices.
TVS Motor Share Performance
As of June 1, 2026, TVS Motor shares were trading at ₹3,361.50, reflecting a gain of 0.17% compared to the previous closing price. The stock remained in focus following the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its premium product offerings and international market presence.
Conclusion
The introduction of the Ronin Monotone and Ronin Agonda marks another step in TVS Motor’s strategy to expand its premium motorcycle range beyond India. With distinctive styling, proven performance, and rider-centric features, the new variants are expected to enhance the appeal of the Ronin brand in Nepal while reinforcing the company’s position in the premium two-wheeler segment.
