Nifty  started new series with positive bias , gaining around 1.5 % at the closing .Prices initially opened with gap up and started moving down but after few hours of trading nifty again rebound and closed at 14761. Metals and cement  were the major gainers while  majority sector was with positive bias.

The market saw increased volatility with sharp bouts of selling & buying . High volatility means high risk high rewards as well as well . We prefer to not participate in a high volatile environment where there is no clear sense of direction. We are advising ours readers to avoid trading the index , wait for volatility to cool off and a consolidation or trading range to be visible.

Nifty has to continuous to hold above 14700 zone to extend its moves towards 14900 or 15000, while on the downside major support will comes at 14600-14500.

Bank nifty opened at 35374  with a gain almost 500 and as the day progressed index did not move so much and closed almost near to open price with a gain of 1.41%. It was a choppy day in the index where prices have moved in both the direction , after a big candle it was normal for prices to move narrow and sideways in the next trading day.

We have seen some wild swing and big range days recently so its possible that prices may consolidate for time being . We should avoid trading the index and wait for a clear sense of direction.
